In Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, the FIA agent played by Idris Elba is Solomon Reed.
Reed is a veteran field agent of the Federal Intelligence Agency, the intelligence service of the New United States. He becomes V’s principal handler after Songbird contacts V and offers a dangerous mission involving President Rosalind Myers.
Reed’s history is closely tied to Dogtown and to several former FIA operatives. His cautious, duty-focused approach contrasts with Songbird’s urgent plans and Alex’s more personal connection to the operation.
Players sometimes confuse Reed with Kurt Hansen, the leader of Dogtown, or with Alex, another former FIA agent. Reed is the central FIA operative who recruits V for the Phantom Liberty storyline.
