In Better Call Saul, what was Mike Ehrmantraut's former job in Philadelphia?

Mike Ehrmantraut was formerly a police officer in Philadelphia in Better Call Saul.

Mike's past is revealed through flashbacks that show him serving as a Philadelphia police officer. He became involved in corruption alongside other officers, and the consequences of that life contributed to the death of his son, Matt Ehrmantraut, who was also a police officer.

After moving to Albuquerque, Mike works as a parking attendant at the courthouse before becoming a security specialist and fixer. His police background explains his surveillance skills, caution, knowledge of weapons, and understanding of criminal investigations. He is not presented as a former judge or firefighter; his law-enforcement experience is specifically as a Philadelphia police officer.
