The Better Call Saul episode where Jimmy and Kim’s plan against Howard reaches its climax is titled “Plan and Execution.”
It is the seventh episode of season six. Jimmy and Kim have spent much of the season manipulating events around Howard Hamlin so that he will appear unstable and unreliable during the Sandpiper Crossing settlement negotiations.
Their scheme succeeds when Howard confronts them and the legal teams at the mediation. However, the plan has a devastating consequence: Lalo Salamanca unexpectedly arrives at their apartment and shoots Howard, making Howard’s apparent collapse look like a drug-related death.
The title refers to both the carefully designed scheme and its violent completion. It should not be confused with “Point and Shoot,” the following episode, which deals with the immediate aftermath of Lalo’s attack.
