After leaving Schweikart & Cokely, Kim Wexler becomes law partners with Jimmy McGill.
Kim and Jimmy marry in season 5, and they later practice law together under the name Wexler-McGill. Their partnership allows Kim to pursue independent work while Jimmy continues developing his Saul Goodman identity.
The arrangement is both professional and personal. Kim wants control over her legal career, while Jimmy sees opportunities to use aggressive marketing and unconventional tactics. Their differing ideas about ethics eventually contribute to the collapse of their relationship and practice.
Kim’s earlier employers include HHM and Schweikart & Cokely, so viewers can confuse those firms with her later partnership. Wexler-McGill is the joint practice she runs with Jimmy after leaving Schweikart & Cokely.
