Peter Jones is the longest-serving current Dragon on BBC's Dragon's Den.
Jones joined the programme at its launch in 2005 and has remained a regular investor throughout the show's UK run. His continued presence makes him the panel's longest-serving current member.
The programme's panel has changed repeatedly. Investors including Rachel Elnaugh, Simon Woodroffe, Doug Richard, Duncan Bannatyne, Theo Paphitis and Deborah Meaden have appeared in different eras, but Jones has remained a constant since the beginning.
Jones is also known for businesses outside television, including Phones International Group and a range of investments in technology, retail and media. His long tenure is distinct from being the show's oldest investor or its biggest investor in every season; those are separate claims.
