In BBC Dragon's Den, which original Dragon founded Red Letter Days?

The story behind the answer

Rachel Elnaugh founded Red Letter Days and was an original Dragon on BBC Dragon's Den.

Red Letter Days sold experience gifts, such as leisure and entertainment activities, through vouchers. Elnaugh established the company in the 1980s and became known as a prominent entrepreneur before joining the first Dragon's Den panel in 2005.

Her appearance on the original panel helped connect the programme with the experience-gift sector and with the wider British entrepreneurial community. She later left the main panel, and Deborah Meaden joined the programme in series 3.

Red Letter Days is sometimes associated with Peter Jones because he later bought the company after it entered administration. That later involvement does not change the founding answer: Rachel Elnaugh created the business and was one of the first five Dragons.
