Peter Jones has served as a Dragon on BBC Dragons' Den since the programme began in 2005.
Jones is a British entrepreneur and businessman whose interests have included mobile phones, technology, leisure and retail. He is the only investor from the original 2005 panel to remain a regular Dragon across the programme's long run.
His continuing presence makes him one of the show's defining figures. He has invested in a range of businesses presented by entrepreneurs, including the Reggae Reggae Sauce pitch. The programme's panel has changed repeatedly, so “original Dragon” and “longest-serving Dragon” are useful distinctions when identifying its investors.
