In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Eivor is the main playable Viking clan leader.
Eivor leads the Raven Clan from Norway to England during the Viking expansion of the late ninth century. Players can select a masculine or feminine presentation for Eivor, but the character’s name remains Eivor. The story follows the clan’s settlement at Ravensthorpe and its alliances and conflicts across England.
Eivor is not an Assassin at the beginning. Through the story, Eivor works closely with Basim and Hytham, members of the Hidden Ones, the historical predecessor organization to the later Assassin Brotherhood. This relationship connects the Viking narrative to the series’ broader conflict with the Order of the Ancients.
Sigurd is Eivor’s foster brother and the jarl whose ambitions help drive the plot. Basim is a Hidden One with his own agenda, while Ivarr is a separate Viking warrior. These characters are therefore common but incorrect alternatives.
Valhalla was released in 2020 and is primarily set in ninth-century England, with additional sequences in Norway and other locations.
