In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Eivor's Viking settlement is located in England.
Eivor leaves Norway and establishes the Raven Clan's settlement in England during the ninth century. The settlement, Ravensthorpe, becomes the operational center of the game. From there, Eivor travels through different English territories, builds alliances, attacks enemy strongholds, and develops the community's buildings and services.
Valhalla presents several Anglo-Saxon kingdoms and regions, including Wessex, Mercia, East Anglia, and Northumbria. The political map is simplified for the game, but it reflects the fragmented power structure of England during the Viking Age. Norway remains playable during parts of the story, and later downloadable content adds other regions, which can cause confusion about the main settlement's location.
The game was released in 2020. Eivor can be selected as male or female in gameplay, while the character's name and broader identity remain the same. The narrative also connects Eivor's story to the Hidden Ones and the Order of the Ancients.
