In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, which culture does protagonist Eivor belong to?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Eivor belongs to the Viking culture.

Eivor is a Viking raider and warrior whose clan leaves Norway and settles in England. The game follows the settlement's expansion, alliances, conflicts, and encounters with the Hidden Ones and the Order of the Ancients during the ninth century.

Valhalla draws on Norse mythology and Viking Age society while also depicting Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. The player can choose Eivor's male or female presentation, but the character's name, origin, and role in the story remain tied to the same protagonist.

The game is sometimes described simply as an English adventure because much of its map is in England. Its central cultural identity, however, is Norse and Viking, with Norway providing the opening homeland.
