Eivor's raven companion in Assassin's Creed Valhalla is named Synin.
Synin assists Eivor during the Viking campaign by scouting locations, identifying enemies, and surveying the surrounding landscape. The name is associated with Old Norse tradition and reflects Valhalla's Scandinavian setting. Eivor can be played as either male or female, but Synin remains the raven companion connected to the protagonist.
The bird is part of a recurring Assassin's Creed design in which protagonists use an animal to support reconnaissance. Bayek uses Senu in Origins, while Kassandra or Alexios uses Ikaros in Odyssey.
