In Assassin's Creed Unity, which Paris landmark is rebuilt as a major game location?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed Unity, Notre-Dame Cathedral is rebuilt as a major game location.

Unity is set in Paris during the French Revolution, beginning in 1789. Arno Dorian can explore a detailed version of the city, and Notre-Dame is among its most recognizable landmarks. The cathedral can be entered and climbed, supporting missions and free exploration within the game's historical setting.

The digital reconstruction attracted renewed attention after the cathedral was badly damaged by fire in April 2019. Reports noted that the game's model and reference material might assist restoration discussions, although a video-game asset is not a substitute for architectural surveys or conservation records.

The Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe were built after the Revolution: the Eiffel Tower opened in 1889, while the Arc de Triomphe was commissioned under Napoleon and completed in 1836. They therefore do not fit Unity's eighteenth-century setting. The Louvre does appear in Paris history and in the game, but the cathedral is the landmark most associated with this reconstruction.
