Arno Dorian is the Assassin protagonist of Assassin's Creed Unity during the French Revolution.
Arno is a French Assassin whose story unfolds in Paris from the eve of the French Revolution through its turbulent early years. After the death of his adoptive father, François de la Serre, Arno is drawn into the Assassin Brotherhood and investigates the conspiracy surrounding the murder.
Élise de la Serre is central to Arno's personal story, but she is a Templar rather than the playable Assassin protagonist. Pierre Bellec is Arno's mentor within the Brotherhood, while François-Thomas Germain becomes a major figure in the Templar plot.
Unity is notable for its detailed recreation of late-18th-century Paris and for introducing cooperative multiplayer missions in which several players can work together. The game also presents historical figures and events, including the storming of the Bastille and the rise of Maximilien Robespierre.
