Answer
Jacob and Evie Frye
In Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the playable twins leading the London Assassins are Jacob and Evie Frye.
Jacob and Evie Frye travel from Crawley to London in 1868 and challenge Templar control during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob is more openly confrontational, while Evie is generally associated with stealth, investigation, and the search for an ancient Piece of Eden. The player can switch between them during much of the main campaign.
Their partnership is central to Syndicate’s structure. Jacob builds the Rooks, a street gang that supports the Assassins, while Evie pursues historical clues and works against the Templar grand master. Their differing priorities create the game’s main family and political tensions.
Syndicate is set in Victorian London, and its map includes districts such as Westminster, the City of London, and Whitechapel. Historical figures including Charles Dickens and Alexander Graham Bell appear alongside the fictional Frye twins.
The game launched in 2015. It is distinct from Unity, whose protagonist is Arno Dorian and whose main setting is revolutionary Paris.
