In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Jacob Frye leads the London Assassins' criminal gang campaign.
Jacob and his twin sister Evie Frye travel to London in 1868, during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob establishes and leads the Rooks, a street gang that helps the Assassins challenge Templar control over the city. His missions emphasize direct combat, gang recruitment, and control of London districts.
Evie is also a playable protagonist, but her activities focus more often on stealth, investigation, and locating the Piece of Eden. The siblings can both be used during the open-world portion of the game, with some missions designed specifically for one twin.
Arno Dorian is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Unity, while Shay Cormac stars in Assassin's Creed Rogue. Those characters are plausible alternatives but belong to different historical settings and stories.
