Jacob Frye is the twin who leads the Rooks in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Jacob and his sister Evie are Assassin protagonists operating in London during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob is the more openly confrontational of the pair and creates the Rooks, a street gang that helps the Assassins oppose Templar influence across the city.
Evie is also playable and focuses more heavily on stealth and the search for an Isu artifact. Because both siblings share the campaign, questions about which Frye founded the Rooks can be confused with questions about which character specializes in stealth.
Syndicate was released in 2015. Its London setting includes recognizable areas such as Westminster, the City of London, and Whitechapel, while its gameplay adds carriage chases, train travel, and a grappling launcher.
