Jacob Frye is the twin who becomes a playable Assassin in London alongside Evie Frye in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Jacob and Evie are Assassin twins who travel from the countryside to London during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob is impulsive and eager to confront the city's Templar leadership directly, while Evie is generally more focused on stealth, investigation, and locating an Isu artifact. The game allows players to switch between the twins for many activities, although some missions are assigned specifically to one character.
Jacob should not be confused with Henry Green, the London Assassin who helps the twins, or with historical figures such as Charles Darwin and Queen Victoria, who appear as allies or contacts. Jacob creates the Rooks, a street gang that supports the Assassins, while Evie works to counter the Blighters. Their contrasting personalities and specialties are central to Syndicate's design and story.
