In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, which siblings lead the playable Assassin characters?

Jacob and Evie Frye lead the playable Assassin characters in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

The twins are Assassin protagonists operating in London during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob is impulsive and focused on building influence through London's criminal underworld, while Evie is more methodical and determined to locate an important Piece of Eden. Players can switch between them during much of the campaign, and each sibling has distinct abilities and gear.

Syndicate was released in 2015 and takes place in 1868. Its story features historical figures including Queen Victoria, Charles Darwin, and Alexander Graham Bell, alongside fictional villains and members of the Templar Order. The Frye twins are different from Arno Dorian and Elise, who belong to Unity, and from the Kenway family featured in several earlier games. Their shared protagonism makes Syndicate unusual within the series, where most main entries center on one primary historical character.
