Jacob Frye is the male protagonist of Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Jacob and his twin sister Evie Frye are Assassins operating in London during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob is characterized as an impulsive fighter who builds the Rooks, a street gang that supports the Assassins and challenges Templar control of the city.
Evie is also a major playable protagonist, and many missions allow players to switch between the twins. Jacob's specialization emphasizes direct combat and gang leadership, while Evie's missions more often highlight stealth and investigation.
The game's London campaign takes place in 1868, during a period of rapid industrial growth and severe social inequality. Henry Green, born Jayadeep Mir, is an Assassin ally rather than one of the Frye twins.
