London is the city controlled by the Frye twins’ operations in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Set in 1868 during the Industrial Revolution, Syndicate follows twins Jacob Frye and Evie Frye as they challenge Templar influence in Victorian London. They build the Rooks, a street gang allied with the Assassins, and use it to contest districts controlled by rival forces.
The game’s London is divided into recognizable areas, including Westminster, the City of London, Southwark, Lambeth, and the Strand. Its historical cast includes Queen Victoria, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens, and Alexander Graham Bell. Syndicate is set in London rather than Paris, which is the principal city of Assassin’s Creed Unity, or Edinburgh, which is associated with the later Scottish setting of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s wider world.
