In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, which city does Jacob Frye primarily explore?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Jacob Frye primarily explores London. The game is set in 1868, during the Industrial Revolution and the later Victorian era.

Jacob and his twin sister Evie Frye travel from Crawley to London to challenge Templar control over the city. They build the Rooks, a street gang that supports their operations, and work to liberate London districts from rival control. The game includes areas such as Westminster, the City of London, Whitechapel, and Southwark.

London's industrial setting distinguishes Syndicate from earlier games. Players encounter factories, railways, horse-drawn carriages, crowded streets, and the sharp contrast between wealthy districts and poor neighborhoods. A grappling launcher also enables rapid movement between rooftops.

The game includes historical figures including Queen Victoria, Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin, and Alexander Graham Bell. London should not be confused with Paris, the setting of Unity, or Boston and New York, which feature prominently in Assassin's Creed III. Syndicate was released in 2015.
