The Rooks are Jacob and Evie Frye's street gang in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Set in London during the Industrial Revolution, Syndicate lets the Frye twins recruit local criminals and reform them into the Rooks. The gang supports the Assassins' campaign against the Templars and their allies, especially the criminal organization controlled by Crawford Starrick.
Players expand the Rooks by completing activities, freeing child laborers, taking over enemy-controlled areas, and carrying out other missions. Gang upgrades improve combat, stealth, income, and transportation across London.
The Rooks are often confused with the Blighters, who are the hostile gang serving the Templars. Jacob generally emphasizes direct action and gang operations, while Evie focuses more heavily on stealth and the search for an ancient Piece of Eden.
