In Assassin's Creed Rogue, which Assassin becomes a Templar after leaving the Brotherhood?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed Rogue, Shay Cormac becomes a Templar after leaving the Assassin Brotherhood.

Shay begins the game as an Assassin operating in the North Atlantic during the Seven Years' War. After witnessing the disastrous consequences of an Assassin mission involving an artifact, he rejects the Brotherhood's leadership and pursues former allies.

He is eventually recruited by the Templar Order and works with figures including Haytham Kenway. This perspective reverses the usual series structure: the player controls a former Assassin while hunting members of the Brotherhood and supporting the Templar cause.

Haytham Kenway is also a Templar, but he does not switch sides during Rogue because he is already aligned with the Order. Arno Dorian and Charles Lee are characters from other parts of the franchise.
