In Assassin's Creed Revelations, which Ottoman capital does Ezio visit?
Answer
Constantinople
Answer
Constantinople
In Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ezio visits Constantinople, the Ottoman capital.
The game places much of Ezio's final adventure in Constantinople during the early sixteenth century. He arrives while seeking Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's Masyaf keys and becomes involved with the local Assassin Brotherhood, the Ottoman succession struggle, and the activities of the Templar faction.
Constantinople is the historical city now commonly called Istanbul. In the game's period, it was the capital of the Ottoman Empire, having been conquered by Sultan Mehmed II in 1453. Revelations also includes the nearby city of Cappadocia and returns to Masyaf for parts of the story.
The setting allows the game to connect Ezio's Renaissance narrative with Altaïr's medieval story. Revelations was released in 2011 and is the fourth main installment to feature Ezio as the central playable character.
