In Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ezio seeks to learn from Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad through Altaïr's memories.
Ezio travels to Constantinople and searches for Masyaf keys that contain memories from Altaïr's life. These sequences let players experience important moments from Altaïr's later years, while Ezio investigates the history of the Assassin Order and the connection between their lives. The structure deliberately links the series' first protagonist with its Renaissance-era hero.
Revelations was released in 2011 and is the fourth major installment in the main series. Ezio's Constantinople story includes figures such as Yusuf Tazim and Sofia Sartor, while Desmond remains central to the modern-day plot. The game is not simply a remake of the original Assassin's Creed: its Altaïr sections occur at different points in his life and provide a concluding chapter for his arc.
