In Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Constantinople is Ezio’s principal base. The game takes Ezio Auditore to the Ottoman capital, where he searches for Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad’s lost memory seals and becomes involved in local Assassin and Templar conflicts.

Constantinople, now called Istanbul, was the capital of the Byzantine Empire until its conquest by the Ottoman Empire in 1453. Revelations is set in 1511, when the city is under Ottoman rule. The game includes districts on both sides of the Golden Horn and features characters connected to the Ottoman succession struggle.
