Constantinople is Ezio Auditore's main destination in Assassin's Creed Revelations.
The game is set primarily in Constantinople during the early sixteenth century, when the city was the capital of the Ottoman Empire. Ezio travels there in search of keys connected to Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's former stronghold in Masyaf and becomes involved with the local Assassin Brotherhood.
The city is divided into districts associated with landmarks and communities, including Galata, Constantine, Bayezid, and Imperial. The story also features Ottoman figures such as Prince Suleiman, who would later become Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent.
The city was officially renamed Istanbul in the twentieth century, but Constantinople is the historically appropriate name for the game's 1511 setting. Ezio also returns to Masyaf and visits Cappadocia during the adventure.
