In Assassin's Creed Origins, which ancient Egyptian queen is portrayed as an ally of Bayek and Aya?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed Origins, Cleopatra is portrayed as an ally of Bayek and Aya. The game places its main story in Ptolemaic Egypt and shows Cleopatra seeking support during her struggle against her brother Ptolemy XIII.

Cleopatra VII Philopator was the last active ruler of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt. Historically, she formed relationships with Julius Caesar and later Mark Antony while trying to preserve her position and Egypt's independence. Origins incorporates these figures into its fictionalized historical narrative.

Bayek and Aya assist Cleopatra because her political goals temporarily overlap with their effort to eliminate the Order of the Ancients. Their alliance is practical and complicated rather than a simple friendship. The game also depicts Cleopatra's eventual rise in Alexandria after Roman intervention.

The character should not be confused with earlier Egyptian rulers such as Hatshepsut or Nefertiti. Cleopatra VII lived in the first century BCE, many centuries after the pharaohs most commonly associated with ancient Egypt's earlier dynasties.
