In Assassin's Creed Origins, what is the full name of the Medjay protagonist from ancient Egypt?

The story behind the answer

Bayek of Siwa is the Medjay protagonist of Assassin's Creed Origins.

Bayek is a protector from the Siwa Oasis in Ptolemaic Egypt. The game begins in 49 BCE and follows his investigation into a group of masked figures responsible for a personal tragedy. His search eventually develops into the origins of the Hidden Ones, the organization that later becomes the Assassin Brotherhood.

Aya, Bayek's wife, is also a major character and an important founder of the Hidden Ones. Bayek's eagle, Senu, assists with reconnaissance, but Senu is an animal companion rather than the protagonist.

Origins is set during the reign of Cleopatra VII and the political conflict involving Ptolemy XIII and Julius Caesar. The game depicts Egypt as a large open world containing Alexandria, Memphis, Cyrene, and the Siwa Oasis. Its title refers to the fictional origins of the Assassin tradition.
