In Assassin's Creed Odyssey, what is the name of the protagonist's spear inherited from Leonidas?
Answer
Spear of Leonidas
Answer
Spear of Leonidas
In Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the protagonist inherits the Spear of Leonidas from Leonidas.
The weapon is connected to the Spartan king Leonidas I, who is portrayed during the opening battle at Thermopylae. In the main story, the player controls either Kassandra or Alexios, and the chosen character is Leonidas's grandchild. The spear serves as a family relic and a visible link to the hero's ancestry.
It is not used as a conventional spear for the whole game. Its broken, enhanced form grants abilities that replace the traditional Assassin tools found in earlier entries. Upgrades to the spear unlock additional skills as the story progresses.
The Spear of Leonidas is distinct from an Apple of Eden, which is a separate Isu artifact, and from the Hidden Blade, which is not the protagonist's signature weapon in Odyssey. The player can also use many ordinary weapons during exploration and combat.
