The player character’s ship in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is called the Adrestia.
The Adrestia is a Greek trireme used to travel across the Aegean Sea. It serves as a headquarters, transport vessel, and naval combat platform during the Peloponnesian War. Players can recruit lieutenants, upgrade the ship, improve its weapons, and customize its appearance.
Naval exploration connects the game’s many islands and coastal regions. The vessel is especially important because Odyssey’s world is built around sea travel between mainland Greece, island settlements, and other locations in the Aegean.
The ship’s name is easy to confuse with vessels from other entries. Edward Kenway commands the Jackdaw in Black Flag, while Shay Cormac commands the Morrigan in Rogue. The Adrestia belongs specifically to Odyssey’s player character, whether that character is Kassandra or Alexios.
