In Assassin's Creed III, which Native American name does the protagonist Ratonhnhaké:ton commonly use?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed III, the protagonist Ratonhnhaké:ton commonly uses the name Connor.

Ratonhnhaké:ton is a Kanien'kehá:ka man from the Mohawk village of Kanatahséton. During the game, Achilles Davenport gives him the English name Connor, which allows him to move through colonial society more easily while pursuing the Assassin cause. The character is therefore often identified as Connor Kenway, although Ratonhnhaké:ton is his birth name.

Connor's story unfolds during the American Revolution. He becomes involved with the colonial conflict while opposing the Templars, including his father, Haytham Kenway. The game explores the tension between the revolutionary movement, Indigenous communities, and the competing goals of the Assassin and Templar orders.

Desmond Miles is the modern-day protagonist using the Animus, not the historical character in the American chapters. Achilles is Connor's mentor, while Haytham is his father. These relationships are frequent sources of confusion when the game's names are discussed.
