In Assassin's Creed III, which Native American hero is known as Connor?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed III, the Native American hero known as Connor is Ratonhnhaké:ton.

Ratonhnhaké:ton is a Kanien'kehá:ka man from the Mohawk Valley. He adopts the name Connor after leaving his community and becoming involved with the Assassin Brotherhood during the American Revolutionary War. The game uses both names, with “Connor” serving as the English name most often used in its marketing and dialogue.

His story follows his effort to protect his village and oppose the Templars amid the political upheaval of the 1770s and 1780s. The historical setting includes figures such as George Washington and Charles Lee, but Connor is a fictional protagonist created for the game.

He is not Bayek, the Egyptian founder associated with Origins, or Arno Dorian, the French protagonist of Unity. Aveline de Grandpré is the lead character of Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, a separate game set in eighteenth-century Louisiana.
