In Assassin's Creed III, which historical figure becomes Connor Kenway's father?
Answer
Haytham Kenway
Answer
Haytham Kenway
In Assassin's Creed III, Haytham Kenway becomes Connor Kenway's father.
Haytham is introduced as the opening playable character of Assassin's Creed III. He is a British nobleman and a high-ranking Templar who travels to the American Colonies in the eighteenth century. His mission initially involves locating a site connected with the First Civilization and establishing Templar influence in Boston.
Haytham later has a relationship with Kaniehtí:io, a Kanien'kehá:ka woman, and their son is Ratonhnhaké:ton, who adopts the name Connor Kenway. Father and son follow opposing sides of the Assassin–Templar conflict, creating one of the series' central family tensions.
Connor eventually confronts Haytham during the American Revolution, but Haytham is not the same character as Edward Kenway, Connor's grandfather and the protagonist of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Charles Lee is a Templar ally of Haytham, while George Washington is a historical revolutionary leader portrayed in the game. Assassin's Creed III was released in 2012.
