Connor Kenway is the half-Mohawk, half-British protagonist of Assassin's Creed III. His Kanien'kehá:ka name is Ratonhnhaké:ton, and he is the son of Templar Haytham Kenway and Kaniehti:io.
Connor grows up in the Mohawk village of Kanatahséton before becoming an Assassin under Achilles Davenport. His story unfolds during the American Revolution and includes encounters with figures such as George Washington, Samuel Adams, and Benjamin Franklin.
Ratonhnhaké:ton is Connor's birth name, not a separate character. Haytham is his father and the game's opening playable character, while Edward Kenway is his grandfather and the protagonist of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
