In Assassin's Creed II, what is the name of the secret order led by Ezio Auditore?

In Assassin's Creed II, Ezio Auditore becomes a leader within the Assassin Brotherhood.

The Brotherhood is the secret organization opposing the Templars, who seek to control society through powerful artifacts and political influence. Ezio is trained by established Assassins and eventually helps expand the organization's reach across Renaissance Italy.

The game presents the Brotherhood as a network rather than a single army. Its members operate through mentors, safe houses, allies, and regional cells. This structure lets Ezio receive guidance while developing into a leader capable of directing other Assassins.

The Hidden Ones are the ancient organization from Assassin's Creed Origins and are presented as predecessors to the later Brotherhood. The Order of the Ancients is the organization Bayek opposes in Origins. The Templar Order is the Brotherhood's ideological enemy, not its name.
