In Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Ezio Auditore holds the title of Mentor in the Assassin Order.
Brotherhood continues Ezio's story after Assassin's Creed II and focuses on his campaign against the Borgia family in Rome. As Mentor, Ezio leads the Italian Assassins, recruits and trains new members, and coordinates efforts to weaken Borgia control over the city.
The title should not be confused with the Templar title Grand Master, which is used by opponents such as Cesare Borgia. Brotherhood also expands the series' management mechanics: recruited Assassins can be sent on missions and eventually become more capable agents. The game was released in 2010 and is set primarily in Rome during the early sixteenth century.
