In A View to a Kill, which Rolls-Royce model is associated with the villain Max Zorin?
Answer
Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II
Answer
Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II
In A View to a Kill, Max Zorin is associated with a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II.
Christopher Walken plays Zorin, an industrialist and former KGB-trained agent whose wealth and public image contrast with his violent plans. The elegant Rolls-Royce helps establish his status and is seen among the expensive vehicles connected with his operation.
The Silver Cloud II was introduced in 1959 as an updated version of the Silver Cloud. Its principal mechanical change was the adoption of a 6.2-litre V8 engine, replacing the straight-six used in the original Silver Cloud. Rolls-Royce continued producing the model until 1962.
The car is often confused with the Silver Shadow, another famous Rolls-Royce model that entered production later in the 1960s. A View to a Kill was released in 1985 and was Roger Moore’s final Bond film. The film also features a Renault taxi in its opening Paris chase, but that vehicle is unrelated to Zorin’s luxury car.
