Olivia Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love sold 164,000 vinyl LPs in its first US week.
The vinyl figure was part of the album’s 273,000 pure album sales. It therefore represented a substantial share of purchases, while the broader first-week total reached 485,000 album-equivalent units after streaming and track activity were included.
The album was marketed in several physical editions, including different vinyl variants. Those formats supported the record’s strong sales performance and helped it debut at number one on the Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales charts.
Vinyl sales should not be confused with streaming-equivalent albums. The first-week report separately listed 211,000 streaming-equivalent albums from 218.41 million on-demand audio streams, plus 1,000 track-equivalent albums. Together, those categories explain why the overall album-equivalent total is much larger than the vinyl number alone.
