How many units of Pokémon Pokopia were sold worldwide in its first four months?

Pokémon Pokopia sold over 5 million units worldwide in its first four months.

The sales milestone was announced after the game’s March 5, 2026 release for Nintendo Switch 2. It measures global sales during the first four months following launch and shows that the spin-off attracted a large audience beyond the traditional battle-focused Pokémon format.

This figure is sometimes confused with an earlier milestone. Nintendo reported that Pokopia surpassed 2.2 million units in its first four days, including 1 million units in Japan. The later four-month result was higher because it covered a much longer sales period.

The wording “over 5 million” matters: it is a threshold rather than an exact publicly stated total. It also refers to worldwide units, not only Japanese sales or the number of Nintendo Switch 2 systems sold.
