The Lost Boys received 12 Tony nominations at the 2026 Tony Awards.
The musical tied Schmigadoon! for the highest nomination total of the ceremony, with both productions receiving 12 nominations. The Lost Boys ultimately won four awards, making it one of the evening’s most successful productions even though it did not win Best Musical.
Its victories included featured acting awards for Shoshana Bean and Ali Louis Bourzgui, plus scenic design and lighting design. The production competed as a new musical adapted from the 1987 film of the same name, while Schmigadoon! won Best Musical and three additional awards.
Nomination totals and win totals are different measures. Death of a Salesman won the most awards with six, but The Lost Boys was among the productions with the most nominations. Ragtime received 11 nominations and won four awards.
