Schmigadoon! won four Tony Awards at the 2026 ceremony.
The musical took home Best Musical, Book of a Musical, Original Score, and Orchestrations. Its creator Cinco Paul won for both the book and the original score, while Doug Besterman and Mike Morris won for orchestrations.
Schmigadoon! was tied with The Lost Boys for the ceremony’s highest nomination total, with 12 nominations each. Its four victories made it one of the night’s biggest winners, alongside The Lost Boys and Ragtime, which also collected four awards apiece.
The production was adapted from the television comedy series of the same name. Its Tony success reflected both the show’s overall musical-theatre construction and its individual writing and orchestration achievements.
