Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman won six Tony Awards in 2026.
The revival won Best Revival of a Play and collected five additional honors. Its winners included Joe Mantello for direction, Laurie Metcalf for featured actress, Chloe Lamford for scenic design, Jack Knowles for lighting design, and Mikaal Sulaiman for sound design.
That total made Death of a Salesman the most-awarded production of the 79th Tony Awards. The result was notable because the ceremony also featured heavily nominated musicals, including The Lost Boys and Schmigadoon!, each of which received 12 nominations.
The production was based on Arthur Miller’s landmark American drama about Willy Loman and his family. The title is sometimes shortened to Death of a Salesman, but the Tony listing used the fuller form “Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman,” distinguishing the revival from unrelated productions.
