Jaymiëll Martina recorded 12 strikeouts in the 2026 Little League World Series international final.
Martina’s pitching performance helped Curaçao defeat Japan 4–0 in Game 35 on August 29. He also contributed offensively, driving in a run with a double as Curaçao secured its place in the championship game.
A strikeout records an out when the batter accumulates three strikes. At Little League level, pitching performances are especially significant because games are shorter than professional contests and a dominant pitcher can control both the pace and scoring opportunities.
Martina’s 12-strikeout total belongs specifically to the international final, not Curaçao’s entire tournament. Curaçao then faced Mountain in the world championship game the following day.
