As of 2024, four seasons of The Boys had aired. The fourth season premiered on June 13, 2024, and its finale was released on July 18, completing the season’s eight-episode run.
The series began on Amazon Prime Video in 2019, introducing a world where superheroes are powerful celebrities controlled by the corporation Vought International. Each season broadens the conflict between Billy Butcher’s anti-Supe group, the Boys, and Vought’s increasingly dangerous heroes, especially Homelander.
The first three seasons aired before 2024, in 2019, 2020, and 2022. The fourth season therefore brought the total to four. Viewers sometimes count Gen V or The Boys: Diabolical, but those are separate spin-off series and do not add to The Boys’ season count.
