Nevada scored nine runs in the sixth inning of its 14–6 win over Iowa at the 2026 Little League World Series.
The outburst came in Game 30 of the U.S. winner’s bracket on August 26. Nevada entered the sixth inning leading Iowa 5–0, then scored nine times to turn the game into a 14–6 victory.
Nevada finished with 14 runs and 10 hits. Payton Hinsen earned the win, while Kannon Kane was charged with the loss for Iowa. Iowa scored all six of its runs in the sixth inning, but its rally could not match Nevada’s advantage.
The win sent Nevada to the U.S. championship game. Iowa dropped into the lower bracket and later lost to Ohio in the lower final.
