The 2024 World Rally Championship calendar contained 13 rallies. The season ran from Rallye Monte-Carlo in January to Rally Japan in November, with events spread across four continents.
The calendar included ten European rounds, plus events in Kenya, Chile and Japan. Its surfaces varied widely: Monte Carlo combined tarmac and snow, Sweden used snow roads, and most of the remaining rounds were gravel or tarmac rallies.
The number was not always certain during planning. Organizers had considered expanding the championship to 14 rounds, but the final calendar retained 13 events to help ensure stronger participation from Rally1 cars. Rally Latvia joined the schedule, while Rally Poland returned and Rally Mexico was omitted.
The 13 rallies were Monte Carlo, Sweden, Kenya, Croatia, Portugal, Sardinia, Poland, Latvia, Finland, Greece, Chile, Central Europe and Japan. The 2024 champion was Thierry Neuville, who secured Hyundai’s first drivers’ title in the modern Rally1 era.
