How many Pokémon generations are represented in Pokémon Pokopia?

The story behind the answer

Pokémon Pokopia represents nine Pokémon generations, from Generation I through Generation IX.

This range gives the game access to Pokémon introduced across the franchise's major eras, from the original Kanto creatures to species first appearing in Generation IX. The selection supports Pokopia's broad habitat system and its emphasis on discovering Pokémon in varied environments.

Representing nine generations does not mean that every Pokémon from those generations appears. The game features a curated total of 300 Pokémon, chosen for its social-simulation and world-building design.

The generation count is therefore different from the roster count: nine describes the historical span of the series represented, while 300 describes the number of Pokémon included in Pokopia's base game.
