How many Pokémon are listed in the main Pokémon Pokopia Pokédex?

The story behind the answer

The main Pokémon Pokopia Pokédex lists 300 Pokémon.

Pokopia’s Pokédex is tied to the game’s settlement systems. Instead of simply encountering every species in random battles, players often create or improve suitable habitats so that Pokémon will appear and become part of the restored community. Completing the collection therefore connects exploration with building and environmental design.

The figure of 300 applies to the main Pokopia Pokédex. It should not be confused with the National Pokédex, whose total has grown across the wider Pokémon franchise, or with separate regional entries introduced through downloadable content. The first Bubbly Basin expansion has its own additional collection of 50 Pokémon, so counting the expansion together with the base-game list produces a different total.

The number also exceeds the 151 species associated with the original Pokémon Red, Green, and Blue era. Pokopia uses Pokémon from across the franchise rather than restricting its residents to the first generation.
