Pokémon Pokopia features 300 Pokémon in its main game.
The selection draws from Pokémon Generations I through IX rather than limiting the cast to the original Kanto Pokédex. This broad range allows the game’s habitats to include familiar species from many eras of the franchise.
Pokémon are not merely collectible opponents in Pokopia. Players create suitable environments, befriend Pokémon, and use the moves those Pokémon teach Ditto to interact with the world. Different species can require different habitat conditions before they appear.
The total is easy to confuse with the 151 species originally introduced in Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow. Pokopia’s roster is much larger because it includes selected Pokémon from nine generations.
